Blast from the past

Prepare to feel old. A couple of years ago, Irish pop sensation U2 released a greatest hits compilation entitled "The Best Of 1980-1990 & B-Sides" (this was the title of the limited edition two-disc set, we are reliably in-formed). Recent discussions on a Web-based U2 discussion group included a question from a young fan (obviously born after the advent of CDs in 1983) who asked, "What's a B-side?" It must be unbelievable to some of these young whipper-snappers that, back in the mists of time, people listened to music imprinted on two-sided vinyl discs. Nowadays, the only vinyl you see in dance clubs is people's pants.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
