First impression on unpacking the Q702 test unit was the solid feel and clean, minimalist styling.
Gateway launches iMac-like PC

Taking cue from Apple's success with the iMac, Gateway today began a soft launch of its own all-in-one PC -- the Gateway Neo.
The $1399 system, which in the US has been given the name Astro, features similar stylings to the iMac, but comes in only one colour -- beige -- and includes an integrated 1.44MB 3.5in diskette drive.
Behind the Neo's 15in CRT screen is a 400MHz Celeron processor, the Intel 810 integrated graphics accelerator, 64MB SDRAM, a 4.3GB hard drive, 17x-40x CD-ROM and 56Kbps modem. Four USB ports are included, whilst the Neo does not offer any serial or parallel ports.
