Visio 2000 Technical Edition released

Visio this week released the latest version of its technical drawing and diagramming software, Visio 2000 Technical Edition.

Visio 2000 Technical Edition ($710.50 RRP) is based on the new Visio 2000 engine, bringing significant performance improvements, according to the company.

The new version now features support for larger technical drawings and provides new navigation tools including a "pan and zoom" window and tabbed pages, says Visio.

New tools for precise drawing, and fully dimensioned floor plans via drag-and-drop are other new features of the version.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
