A new version of Network Associates' PC utilities package, McAfee Office was released today, the company also announcing that people who buy McAfee VirusScan ($79) during September will be offered a $60 rebate.

McAfee Office 2000, which will have an introductory price of $99 until October 31 (its suggested retail price is $149), includes a range of tools to assist users in keeping their PCs running ship-shape, says Network Associates. The package includes: Nuts & Bolts, UnInstaller, VirusScan, Oil Change and the Y2K Survival Kit.

Features added to the new version include a central interface that integrates access to all of the applications, a central monitoring screen, and a single update button to update all components installed.
