Backing-up can be easy

It can be a toss-up as to which brings on headaches more - backing-up data on your PC or losing (usually important) documents.

A new application called AutoSave from V Communications (makers of the System Commander line), simplifies the process by automatically saving files that you work on.

AutoSave ($99.95) can be configured to the user's needs but comes with a default setting that provides protection for any files modified while the PC is running.

The program backs-up files each time they are created or modified, saving to a compressed archive on the PC's local hard drive or a network, which is then accessible to the user.
