Free Web site with a difference

Free Web site hosting is nothing new, but now and then, a new service pops up and offers something a little better.

What sets HomePage.com apart is the simple URL it offers users: http://yourname.homepage.com. What's more, is that you won't be confronted by advertising windows, and building your homepage could be as simple or complex as you like.

For the basic homepage, use HomePage.com's templates, or if you're more advanced, the service supports FTP and Microsoft FrontPage extensions.

An advertising banner (placed by HomePage.com) will occupy the top of your Web pages, but apart from that, it's all yours - all 10 megabytes worth.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
