Intel launches 400MHz mobile processors

Intel this week announced the release of the latest processors for the mobile PC market -- 400MHz models of the Pentium II mobile processor and the mobile Celeron processor.
The new Pentium II processor features the fastest clock speed yet for Intel's mobile processor range, and according to the company, has been designed specifically for performance mobile PCs.
Gateway has already announced the new 400MHz mobile PII will be standard for the company's top range notebooks. The first Gateway notebook to feature the processor is the Solo 9150.
