Telstra staff may strike over porn

The telecommunications giant is believed to be investigating another 60 employees at its Global Operations Centre at Clayton in Victoria.
Employees at the Centre plan to discuss industrial action at meetings today and tomorrow. The Communications Electrical and Plumbing Union has claimed the telecommunications giant would use any excuse to sack workers in the wake of proposed staff cuts of up to 10,000.
However, Telstra has rejected the claims, and alleges that staff accessed and distributed pornography obtained over its network, and had breached other e-mail and Internet policies.
