Prayers at a price

No time for prayer? Lost for words? Let the PrayerWheel do the work for you.

At just 10 US cents a day, the US-based Net offering will say a daily prayer on behalf of subscribers.

"With a Computer remembering to say prayers daily, you will never again miss saying your prayers or dedicating them for that special purpose," declare the operators of the PrayerWheel. "People will obtain a feeling of comfort and security, knowing that their prayers and millions of other prayers are being offered to God, every day all of the time."

Prayers for seven religions are on offer and subscribers can log-on to the site and see which prayer is being said.

And although the prayers are guaranteed to be said daily, the PrayerWheel's operators will not guarantee that they will be heard or granted by God.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
