Games for everyone

If an all-out multi-player extravaganza sounds too complicated for you, you could always try an e-mail game.
Hasbro Interactive has several e-mail games you can try. Most of the options have their origins in the offline world of traditional board games like Cluedo and Battleship plus old favourites such as Backgammon, Draughts and Chess.
After installing the client, you can challenge another player via e-mail moves. Hasbro says it generally takes around five minutes to deliver a move via its servers. You can play Upwords for free, but other games like Battleship will time out after 10 moves.
Price: around $20
