EquityCafe launches $1m sharemarket game

An online sharemarket game with a grand prize of $1 million was launched yesterday by EquityCafe, an Australian Web site for share investors.
Starting this month and running through to May next year, the EquityCafe Challenge consists of six rounds in which each player is given $100,000 of virtual money at the beginning of each month.
The grand prize is underwritten by Lloyds of London and will go to the player who can turn $100,000 into $1 million within a month by buying and selling virtual shares.
