New laser printer for Lexmark Optra range

Lexmark has launched the Optra K 1220, the latest offering in its series of monochrome laser printers.

At $1625 RRP, the new printer is targetted for desktop or small workgroup use, providing 12ppm printing, true 600 x 600 dpi resolution and 1200 Image Quality mode.

With a duty cycle of 15,000 pages per month, the Optra K 1220 is fully networkable ($2176 RRP for the network-ready configuration) and has a time-to-first-page of less than 18 seconds. An optional 450-sheet drawer for expanded paper capacity is available.
