New Web sites: Interflora, 1999 Australian Open, 3Com Knowledgebase

Three new choice sites for you to visit: e-commerce site Interflora; the official 1999 Australian Open Tennis Championships site; and 3Com's Knowledgebase -- a site filled with technical networking info.

Interflora

International florist company Interflora has launched its Australian e-commerce site, enabling customers to order flowers from anywhere in the world, for delivery anywhere in the world, including of course, Australia. The site also lets you send virtual flowers over the Net.

1999 Australian Open Tennis Championshipshttp://www.ausopen.orgGoing live on December 11, the official Web site for the 1999 Australian Open Tennis Championships, will hold several new features for tennis enthusiasts. A downloadable Java scoreboard will deliver point-by-point scores to your desktop, and a new interactive Web cam, the iCam, is mounted on the Centre Court and manoeuvrable by Web site visitors. The NetCam meanwhile, provides still images (updated every 60 seconds) of the Centre Court and Show Courts One and Two.

The 3Com Knowledgebase Web service

This site should be a welcomed tool to anyone who manages a network that includes 3Com hardware. Indeed, it will also appeal to anyone researching into setting up a network. An "automated diagnostic tool", the 3Com Knowledgebase Web service is hoped to empower users by providing a self-service tool for resolving technical problems.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Windows 10 / HP Spectre x360

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
