Oki's OKIPAGE 8c is a networkable LED page printer, claimed by its makers to be the fastest in its price bracket.

Full colour output at 8 pages per minute (8ppm) is claimed. Developed to meet both standalone and workgroup needs where an inkjet is too slow, the printer prints at 600dpi and has a 6000 page per month full colour duty cycle.

There is an optional Network Interface Card and Adobe PostScript 3 is standard. The new printer comes in two versions: with or without 10Base T/2, both standard with a high-speed bi-directional parallel port, as well as a serial RS-232c convertor where a standalone solution is required. 16MB memory is standard, exandable to 80MB.

Available through Oki Products Australia (phone 02 9690 8200) the OKIPAGE 8c has a price $8540 incl tax.
