New mobile PII-300 now in all Gateway portables

Intel's new 300MHz Pentium II mobile processor (launched yesterday in Sydney) is now available across the Solo range of Gateway notebooks, the direct-marketer has announced.
According to Gateway, the new processor provides an overall perfomance increase of more than 20 per cent compared to the 233MHz Mobile Pentium processor with MMX.
The Solo 2500, 5150 and 9100 notebooks are now available with the 300MHz Mobile Pentium processor.
