Canon CD4046 digital document recorder

Canon Australia's new desktop archiving system, the CD 4046 digital document recorder, is designed for document critical businesses.

The unit is a compact scanner (200dpi or 300dpi) with a built-in CPU and CD writer; it automatically converts paper documents to digital images and writes them directly to CD. The CDs can be used from stand-alone PCs or loaded onto network drives. The CD 4046 has a recording rate of 39 pages per minute, and teh scanner captures double-sided documents in a single pass.

The CD 4046 has a 15cm colour touch panel display to control all functions.
