New Net access plan offers 5 free hours

An ISP with points of presence throughout Australia has launched a new pricing plan which it believes is the first of its kind in Australia: five free hours per month and $1 for each hour thereafter.

EISA today revealed its new Internet access plan -- EISAFree5 -- calling it "Australia's first free no commitment Internet access offer".

"With EISAFree5 if customers use less than five hours each month there is nothing to pay, it's free," said the company's general manager Peter Mackow.

According to Mackow the ISP's network is prepared for the increased demand that EISAFree5 may bring. The company already has access points in all mainland capital cities, it claims.

The access plan includes unlimited support on weekdays from 9am to 10pm and between the hours of 10am and 7pm on Saturdays.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
