Rex moves to Xircom

Xircom has announced it will buy the Rex product line of handheld computers from Franklin Electronic Publishers in a deal worth $US13.25 million.

The Rex product line will keep its branding, while Xircom will expand the products to include versions designed for the enterprise market, offering wireless connectivity and Web clipping capabilities.
