Insurance without the pain

Quicken.com.au is aiming to take the pain out of shopping around for home and contents insurance with the launch of a new free online service.
Home & Contents Insurance at Quicken.com.au allows users to gain three quotes from three insurers -- CGU, Royal Sun Alliance and Western QBE. Quicken.com.au expects more insurers to join the service in the coming weeks.
The service involves a user filling in an e-mail form detailing property and sums to be insured. Three quotes are then returned in an e-mail within 12 hours.
If a users chooses to go with one of the quotes, the entire process including application, payment and confirmation, can be done online through the site.
