TV and video in one

A new PCI card from Pinnacle Systems offers users a TV-tuner and a video capture card in one $229 unit.
Studio PCTV, distributed by Lako Vision, lets users tune their PC into broadcast television and also capture video from their camcorder, VCR or the TV-tuner.
The package includes Studio, Pinnacle's video editing software, which provides a drag-and-drop interface for "frame accurate editing" and high-resolution still image capture. Using Studio, video captured can be edited, adding titles, voice-overs and sound effects, and can be outputted as AVI or MPEG-1 files.
Also bundled with the package is RealNetworks' RealProducer, software that enables users to create streaming video.
