Share one Net connection between two PCs

Version 2.0 of US company StarTech Computer Products' Internet Splitter is now available in Australia.

Internet Splitter ($79.95 RRP), includes software and a cable allowing users to connect two PCs together to access the Internet through a single ISP account.

The 15m Internet Splitter Cable joins two PCs via the serial port of each. StarTech's Internet Sharing software meanwhile, manages the Internet connection, allowing simultaneous Web surfing, newsgroup and e-mail access. The software also provides for fast caching and security control, says StarTech's Australian distributor Marketing Results.

Internet Splitter runs on Windows 95 and 98.
