OzSearch launches new directory of Australian Web sites

The OzSearch Internet Guide -- a categorised listing of Australian Web sites -- has been officially launched. The site was opened for beta-testing in November 1998 and has, according to OzSearch, processed more than 1000 search queries per day.

According to OzSearch, the directory currently categorises more than 5000 sites, and there are plans to raise this figure to 25000 sites over the next few months. OzEmail expects OzSearch to become the largest Web directory in the country.

The OzSearch Web site is at http://www.ozsearch.com.au.
