SYSTAT 8.0 released

Claiming "15 years of continuous improvement by some of the world's leading statisticians", Hearne Scientific Software has released version 8 of its SYSTAT Windows statistics package.

SYSTAT provides statistics and interactive graphics for scientists, engineers and statisticians. The new version has new spacial statistics and a revamped user interface. There are 60 new features to help users perform complex statistical analysis and data management with graphic capabilities. These features include a Data Editor for drag and drop manipulation of variables, and an Output Organizer to quickly navigate statistical analyses.

SYSTAT 8 is available from Hearne Scientific Software for $1495 (upgrade $495), phone (03) 9602 5088.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
