A new graphics package from Microsoft integrates photo editing tools and drawing tools into the one interface.
PhotoDraw 2000, set for a November release, has been developed from the ground up, says Microsoft, and takes "an entirely new approach to graphics".
Users can apply special effects to photos, use and alter clip art, draw freehand and use a range of painting tools. 3D at the click of a button is one of PhotoDraw's 350 special effects.
Aimed at business users who create graphics for print, PowerPoint and the Web, PhotoDraw features a "Save-For-Use-In" wizard, which saves graphics to the appropriate format for their use.
PhotoDraw 2000 will be priced at $259 RRP. See more information about the product at http://www.microsoft.com/office/photodraw/
