Mobile blogging

SplashBlog lets you use your PDA/mobile phone to take a photo and transmit it wirelessly via GPRS to your personal SplashBlog Web page, ready to share with friends or family.

We tested the Palm-based software using a Treo 650, but Pocket PC-based phone support is expected later this year.

You must first create an account before you can upload photos to SplashBlog (www.splashblog.com/'userID') for viewing. Your site has a 50MB capacity (optional increases are planned) and images can be organised later through a Web-based interface or on the fly. Photos can also be uploaded from your PC's hard disk and Style templates are available to change the look of the site. Best of all, once the software is purchased - the Web page is yours for good.
