If you haven’t made the move to broadband, you’ll want every tip you can get for wringing the fastest and smoothest Internet service from your modem. This one-time classic site has been lying fallow for years, but an effort to resurrect it has come at a time when information-heavy sites designed for broadband are clogging up the Web. The site is the opposite of intensive pages crammed with links and ads — its straightforward FAQ layout is a breath of fresh air. It’s good to have it back.
