Front projectors poised to take flight

According to recently released market information from Pacific Media Associates, the landscape for front projectors is changing. Previously considered a more niche product for business, home, and educational and religious facilities, the world of front projectors is expanding, thanks to the advent of instant home theaters and pocket-sized portable projectors. PMA's data indicates that these two categories--new to the market in 2005--will sell nearly three million units by 2010.

Another significant driving force in front projection, according to PMA, will be the demand for higher-resolution, widescreen 768p and 1080p front projectors.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
