Easter is usually a time when people are seen gorging on chocolate eggs, but Spin Internet has another idea: it's letting customers gorge on six months free ADSL2+ when they sign a 24 month contract with a Spin phone bundle.
Alternatively, customers can sign up for a 12 month contract and receive three months free ADSL2+.
The only catch is that customers must sign up to a fixed contract with a phone bundle from Spin. The two phone line rentals available are priced at $26.95, with local calls costing 20 cents; and $29.95 with 17.5 cent local calls.
Customers have a choice of five ADSL2+ plans that range in monthly price from $29.95 with 3GB of download capacity, to $89.95 with 80GB of download allowance. If customers exceed download limits on any but the lowest priced $29.95 plan, download speeds are shaped to 72Kbs. Customers on the $29.95 plan are charged at $10 a gigabyte when they exceed their limit.
"We've had very good sign-up rates in the three months since launching our ADSL2+ services," said Spin marketing manager, Bill McArthur. "This promotion is a bit of an old fashioned land grab but is a great way to spread our competitive ADSL2+ offerings, build up the brand and get some more sales."
The Easter Special promotion runs for two weeks until 5pm on April 13.
