Nokia and Vodafone take on Apple iTunes

Nokia last week launched the Nokia Music Store download service in the UK. Vodafone also unleashed its own music store - but it's banking on streaming rather than downloading to topple Apple's iTunes and iPhone.
UK's music fans can access the Nokia Music Store using the N81 and N95 handsets, or an XP or Vista PC with IE6.
Songs cost 80 pence each or you can shell out £8 for an album. That's a whole penny more than iTunes. You can also stream music for £8 a month.
Vodafone is also aiming to to take a bit out of Apple and O2 thunder as the iPhone launch approaches.
For £1.99 a week, Vodafone MusicStation offers unlimited streaming provided by Omnifone. It will work on most Vodafone phones.
