Shipping with a 500GB hard drive, it is able to record on to Blu-ray recordable discs and DVDs as well. Check out our Australian-first review here.Another look at the Panasonic DMR-BW500.The Panasonic DMR-EX88 and Panasonic DMR-EX78 are the other DVD/HDD recorders announced by Panasonic. The Panasonic DMR-EX88 features a 400GB hard drive while the Panasonic DMR-EX78 has 250GB. The Panasonic DMR-EX88, Panasonic DMR-EX78 and Panasonic DMR-XW300 models will all be released in June.The Panasonic DMR-EZ48V is a hybrid VHS/DVD recorder, with a standard-definition digital tuner built-in. Set to be released in July, the Panasonic DMR-EZ48V’s easy controls allow for a one-touch transfer of video from VHS to DVD.The standout home theatre model announced by Panasonic was the Panasonic SC-BT105, a fully integrated home theatre system with a bundled Blu-ray player. Packing a whopping 1250WRMS of power, the Panasonic SC-BT105 will be released in August.Other pre-built home theatre systems include the Panasonic SC-PT865W, the Panasonic SC-PT560 and the Panasonic SC-PT460. The Panasonic SC-PT865W includes a set of wireless rear speakers for easy set up, and will retail for $1099.The Panasonic SC-PT560’s rear speakers are satellite-sized, designed for smaller living spaces. With an RRP of $769, the Panasonic SC-PT560 is a mid-range modelThe Panasonic SC-PT460 at $549 is the budget model of the range, and has a complete set of satellite speakers for flexible setup.
