iiNet announces new partnership with Xbox 360
Quota-free Xbox downloads for iiNet customers

In an Australian first, iiNet has announced a new partnership with Xbox 360 that enables iiNet customers to receive Xbox LIVE content quota-free. It is the first time an Australian Internet service provider has offered quota-free Xbox gaming downloads.

The downloads will be offered in conjunction with iiNet's Freezone servers, which offer unlimited downloads that don't count towards a user's quota limit.

Mark White, iiNet's chief operating officer, said: “By signing up with iiNet, customers can download the hottest new game demos from Xbox LIVE and not run down the household quota.”

In addition to game demos, the partnership will allow iiNet customers to download trailers, game add-ons, console updates and LIVE Arcade games quota-free. Andrew Jenkins, Xbox360 product marketing manager for games and LIVE remarked: “We are delighted to partner with iiNet and to have Xbox LIVE content as part of iiNet’s Freezone.”
