Vodafone introduces PayPal mobile recharge

Allows prepaid customers to purchase credit via PayPal

Vodafone Australia today announced that prepaid customers can recharge their credit using PayPal.

Vodafone Australia follows in the footstops of Vodafone Italy, which launched a similar scheme in August.

Customers simply register for a PayPal account online and select from either direct debit or credit card payment. Once their PayPal account is activated, they can recharge their Vodafone Prepaid Cap or Extras Pack directly from their mobile phone. "This is great news for Vodafone customers and is a perfect solution that is specifically designed to support mobile communications products and services", said Russell Hewitt, CEO of Vodafone Australia.

The PayPal payment engine authenticates a customer's identity with a user name and password, with customers receiving a recharge PIN via SMS or e-mail.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
