If you own a PS3 or Wii game console, you can now watch YouTube on your television. Currently in beta and announced only Thursday in a blog post by the YouTube Team, the YouTube for Television web site offers a remote control-friendly user interface for the popular video site.

Don't bother visiting that site if you're reading this on a computer. It will simply take you do YouTube's home page. You must access it with a PS3 or Wii to get the TV version.

According to the blog post, the new interface was designed to provide "a dynamic, lean-back, 10-foot television viewing experience...With enlarged text and simplified navigation [that] makes watching YouTube on your TV as easy and intuitive as possible."

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
