Australian ISP iiNet has teamed up with Starbucks to offer its customers free Wi-Fi access at a selection of the coffee chain's stores.

iiNet says that its customers will be able to log on to the chain's hotspots by using their iiNet username and password details; each user will get a 100MB data allowance every month.

The deal has been made with 20 Starbucks stores along the east coast of Australia, including eight stores in New South Wales, seven in Queensland and five in Victoria. The list of participating stores can be found here. Users in other states can use iiNet's Wi-Fi locator tool to find a free non-Starbucks hotspot in their area.

It's not the first time iiNet has struck a deal offering free Wi-Fi to its users. In August 2007 the company announced that its users would be able to log in to Tomizone Wi-Fi hotspots anywhere in the world for free, also with a 100MB data allowance per month. Information on how to connect and where to find Tomizone hotspots can be found here.
