Kogan launches KEVIN37: a $900 LCD television

Budget manufacturer and retailer Kogan today announced the KEVIN37, a 37in LCD television that will cost $900 — the same amount earmarked for individual tax-payers who earn $80,000 or less in the Federal Government's economic stimulus package.
Set for release in April, the KEVIN37 will be delivered to customers at the same time as they are receiving the $900 handout. The televisions will also ship with a free promotional T-shirt that pays homage to the 'KEVIN07' T-shirts worn by supporters of the then-prime ministerial candidate Kevin Rudd in 2007's federal election.
Company founder Ruslan Kogan said that the product was an example of his company making consumer electronics affordable for all Australians. “While big name technology vendors are raising prices, we’re introducing new products at prices that undercut the market significantly. Many Australians have been waiting for an opportunity like this to bring their living rooms into the digital age with a big screen high-definition set. The KEVIN37 in conjunction with the tax bonus is a great combination for Australians looking for an affordable home entertainment solution."
The government's economic stimulus package is meant to be spent on local products and services to boost economic growth. Kogan is an Australian-owned and operated business, and the company says that its profits are reinvested in the Australian economy.

Australian owned, but where exactly are the tv's made?
Also, who will be making the panels, and what generation are they?
More details please.
And what is with Australia.... they don't want to buy imports, but they expect the world to buy their exports... you can't have it all your own way. Wake up people, you need other countries more than you know.
