ViewSonic unveils new compact projector - the PJD5111

New DLP projector has SVGA resolution, 2500 lumens brightness and 4000 hour lamp life

ViewSonic Corporation has announced the launch of its new ultra-bright DLP projector, the PJD5111, with enhanced network and multimedia capabilities. It has a native 800 x 600 SVGA resolution and projects with an intensity of 2500 lumens.

According to the press release, the PJD5111 has a sophisticated 6-segment color wheel and enriches the yellow color performance that is key to accurate and vivid color reproduction. At only 2.3 kgs, ViewSonic`s PJD5111 projector is light and compact, making it suitable as a ‘mobile presenter’.

The user can simply unplug the projector and without waiting for the usual cool down phase. This feature also protects the lamp from sudden power blackouts. Incorporation of Eco Mode further extends the life of projector lamp to up to 4000 hours and helps reduce noise output. The Viewsonic PJD5111 also has two RGB inputs and one RGB output.
