In an interview with gamesindustry.biz, Sean Brennan, marketing director for Bethesda (The Elder Scrolls series, Fallout 3) reveals that the Maryland-based developer and publisher is going to make an announcement this year about a new video game for the Nintendo Wii.
Brennan brought up Bethesda's mysterious and ambitious upcoming Wii game during the interview while talking about how even though the market for Mature-rated Wii games like The House of the Dead: Overkill and MadWorld isn't as massive as those for the Xbox 360 or PS3, that doesn't necessarily mean that adult Wii games can't be tremendously successful.
Is there space in the Wii market for that? I think there is, but again, it all about finding out how big that is. Is it 5 per cent? If it's five per cent of the market and you can own that space it's worth doing because you can achieve volume.
