Creative gets colourful with EP-630 and EP-650 in-ear headphones
New options for making sure your Creative in-ear headphones don't clash with your outfit
Creative Technology has announced the release of its popular EP-630 and EP-650 headphones in a wider range of colours. Most colours are currently available in the company’s online store, and stock will be available in approved Australian retail stores by the end of July.
The Creative EP-630 headphones, which retail for $49.95 and were previously available only in black and white, will soon be available in Pacific Blue, Atlantic Green and Mediterranean Red. Bundled with Creative’s range of media players — which includes the ZEN X-Fi and ZEN Mosaic 4GB — as well as sold separately, more than 3 million pairs of EP-630 headphones were sold in 2008.
In addition to the EP-630 headphones, a new version of the Creative EP-650 headphones will be released in mid-July. They will have a colour dubbed Mercury Abyss and command a $20 premium over the lower-end EP-630s.
