Sennheiser gets style-conscious with new headphones
Sennheiser HD 448, HD 438, HD 428 and HD 418 headphones have distinct designs

Sennheiser has released four new pairs of headphones, each featuring a striking design. The four models have been optimised for use with MP3 players, though they are also suited for use with a home entertainment system.

The Sennheiser HD 448 is the premium model, offering what Sennheiser claims is "well-balanced stereo audio with detailed imaging" with a retro body. The Sennheiser HD 438 has a similar sound presentation with the main difference being a design featuring five chrome "wheel spokes" on the ear-cups. Along with the white-and-black flame design of the Sennheiser HD 418, this is a significant departure from the conservative styling of older Sennheiser headphones like the Sennheiser HD 600 and Sennheiser HD 800.

The low-end Sennheiser HD 418 is available for $99.95, the mid-range Sennheiser HD 428 and Sennheiser HD 438 cost $129.95 and $149.95, respectively, and the premium Sennheiser HD 448 is priced at $169.95. All models are available now.
