Vodafone has unveiled pricing details for the new iPhone 3G S and will offer the handset to prepaid customers for the first time.

The existing 8GB iPhone 3G will cost $759 up-front on a prepaid plan, while you'll pay $929 up-front for the 16GB iPhone 3G S and $1129 for the flagship 32GB model.

For post-paid customers, Vodafone will offer the 16GB iPhone 3G S free on its $69 iPhone Cap over 24 months. The plan includes $400 worth of calls, text and MMS, unlimited free Vodafone-to-Vodafone calls during the evening and on weekends, and 1GB of data.

The flagship 32GB iPhone 3G S will be free on a $114 cap over 24 months, which includes unlimited calls, text, MMS and voicemail and 2GB of data.

Unlike Optus, Vodafone will not be charging its iPhone customers a monthly access fee to use Internet tethering, but the telco has provided the option to purchase additional data for tethering — 1GB will cost $24.95 and 2GB will cost $29.95 (both offers will be available from August).

Vodafone only offers the iPhone on 24-month contracts (Optus has a 12-month option on most plans), but it is currently the only Australian telco to offer Visual Voicemail. Post-paid customers who purchase the iPhone 3G S online before 30 June 2009 will also receive a bonus $100 credit, while prepaid customers purchasing the iPhone before 31 August will receive a bonus $500 flexible credit.

I’d happily recommend this touchscreen laptop and Windows 10 as a great way to get serious work done at a desk or on the road.

Windows 10 / HP Spectre

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.
