Lights, camera, action: the Facebook movie

You know you've made it big-time when a movie is made about you. Remember last year when we heard news of the story behind Facebook coming soon to cineplex near you? Today we are hearing that the movie, called The Social Network, is approaching production schedule, set for sometime at the end of this year.
Director David Fincher is reportedly in advanced talks with Columbia Pictures to direct the The Social Network, according to a story from Variety. The script is written by Aaron Sorkin and is based on an adaptation of the upcoming book Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal, written by Ben Mezrich.
Fincher has already directed many successful movies such as Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Scott Rudin, Michael De Luca, Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti are reportedly all set to produce The Social Network.
Ben Mezrich's book on Facebook will be on shelves on July 14, but already has a review on Amazon from Kevin Spacey. His review (keep in mind he is producing the movie based on this book) however puts an interesting angle on how the movie might turn out to be: "a captivating story of betrayal, vast amounts of cash, and two friends who revolutionized the way humans connect to one another-only to have an enormous falling out and never speak again."
