A war of gamers around the globe is about to spark with Game & Game World Championship 2009 Europe Finals.

On 14 July, Korea Creative Content Agency announced first regional finals of 'Game & Game World Championship 2009' (GNGWC2009) will be held in Leipzig, Germany on the upcoming July 31.

In GNGWC2009 Europe Finals, European contestants who came out victorious from the online preliminaries will go head-to-head to earn the rights to represent Europe at the GNGWC2009 World Finals in South Korea. The winners of the Europe Finals will be qualified to participate in the World Finals and receive a round-trip ticket and paid hotel.

Three categories of the competition are Silk Road Online, Shot Online, and Atlantika. The winner and the runner-up for each game title will proceed to the World Finals, and a total of 24 gamers will be invited to South Korea.

First, second, and third places of each title will receive an award of $5,000, $3,000, and $1,000, respectively; a total prize of US$ 27,000 will be awarded to the top players of three categories.

Starting with Germany, regional finals of GNGWC2009 will be held in USA (Sep. 12), South Korea (Sep. 27), Brazil (Oct. 10), and Japan (Oct. 17). The World Finals will be held in South Korea on November 28.

Winning players of regional finals will be fighting for the prize money of US $27,000 on November 28 -- 29 at the G-star Event Hall in Busan, South Korea.

At the GNGWC2009 Europe Finals in Germany, side acts and programs will be held to add to the excitement of the event: Game booths, events, action figures of game characters, and a photo zone.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
