An online retailer is listing a version of Sony Ericsson's Windows Mobile smartphone the Xperia, with one major difference. The new Xperia appears to run the Google Android operating system.

Sony Ericsson has previously said it intends to build several Google Android 2.0 smartphones. Now e-tailer Expansys is listing a Sony Ericsoon Experia, with the part number 'SEMXP3_BLK_UK', that runs Google Android. This suggests we're looking at the Xperia X3.

The quad-band 850/900/1800/1900MHz, 3G smartphone has an 8Mp camera and a 4in 800x400-pixel screen.

The Expansys listing gives no price, and no release date, but allows punters to pre-order. There are also pictures of the upcoming 'Xperia X3'.
