Halo and Avatar headline Comic-Con '09 game news
Halo film officially dead, Avatar: The Game looks revolutionary

Although it wasn't the most exciting Comic-Con in terms of game news, there was still plenty to talk about by the end of its run. Most notably, two Halo related stories emerged that were a little disheartening, as Halo Reach was revealed to be Bungie's last Halo game and Peter Jackson announced that Halo Chronicles was "no longer happening." But, amongst the sad news, if shooting aliens on other worlds is your kind of thing, James Cameron's Avatar: The Game looks like it could be a big hit, if not downright revolutionary due to the 3D element.
