New Hitachi projector targets education sector
The Hitachi CP-X3010N projector can be controlled over a network

Hitachi Australia has announced the release of the CP-X3010N, a presentation projector designed for the education sector.

The Hitachi CP-X3010N is an upgrade to the CP-X2510. It has a brightness level of 3000 lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. More importantly for large educational institutions, it can be controlled over an Ethernet network. The My Image broadcast system allows a PC to transmit a still image to each projector on the network. Combined with Hitachi’s PJMessenger system, which transmits text and integrates a scheduling function, each projector can be used as a virtual message board.

The projector’s lamp has a life of 6000 hours when Eco Mode is used.

The Hitachi CP-X3010N is available now for a recommended retail price of $2045.
