The Pizza Hut iPhone app has already been launched in the U.S and will soon appear in the Australian iPhone app store.

Fast food giant Pizza Hut today announced it will launch an iPhone app and 3G mobile phone ordering service in Australia.

The Pizza Hut app enables iPhone users to browse through the menu and order pizza using their mobile. It will also feature a virtual fridge and a free racing game to play once you've placed your order.

The Pizza Hut iPhone app has already launched in the US and was downloaded 150,000 times in 30 days.

Pizza Hut Australia Marketing Director Valerie Kubizniak said the iPhone app is part of a number of "brilliant new digital innovations" the fast food chain will launch in the coming months.

"There’s an appetite for the Pizza Hut app here and we’re thrilled to be bringing this to Australian pizza lovers, along with our clever new 3G mobile phone ordering service." Kubizniak said the 3G mobile phone ordering will "change the way people order their food."
