Dev: LittleBigPlanet sequel would be 'counterproductive'
According to Lynagh, the PS3 version will likely sustain itself for awhile on the large amount of user-created content

G4TV found an article on Critical Gamer teasing its upcoming interview with Media Molecule's Martin Lynagh by including some choice quotes about the possibility (or lack thereof) of a LittleBigPlanet 2. Most notably, Lynagh believes that a sequel would fracture the audience "We'd never want to do that." Lynagh said "That'd be the most counterproductive thing you could do I think."

According to Lynagh, the PS3 version will likely sustain itself for awhile on the large amount of user-created content, saying "I think what you've seen so far from LittleBigPlanet, that's the way it's going to continue."

LittleBigPlanet came out in October of 2008 with a "Game of the Year" edition releasing this past September. The PSP version of the game is due out this month.
