Panasonic adds bonus Wii to Christmas TV purchases

Full HD plasma TV buyers can choose from a free LUMIX digital camera or Nintendo Wii console

Panasonic has expanded its Christmas bonus deals for televisions, offering a Nintendo Wii and two games with the purchase of a high-definition Viera plasma television. This deal runs alongside the earlier HD Bonus promotion, which has seen 33,000 gifts already redeemed.

All of the 32,000 DMR-XW350 DVD recorders and SC-BT200 home theatre systems offered as part of the HD Bonus promotion have been redeemed. However, only 1000 of the 12,000 Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FT1 tough digital cameras have been redeemed.

From 1 December onwards, consumers that purchase a Full HD Panasonic Viera plasma television can now make a choice between one of the 11,000 remaining LUMIX DMC-FT1 digital cameras and a Wii Bonus Pack, which includes a Nintendo Wii console and Avatar and Mario Kart Wii games. There is no limit to the amount of Wii Bonus Packs available for redemption. Both the HD Bonus promotion and the Wii Bonus Pack offer expire on 24 December.

More details on the HD Bonus promotion can be found on Panasonic's HD Bonus Web site; information on the free Nintendo Wii is also available on the site of the site.
