BMW M3 modded to act as Gran Turismo game controller

Photos published to Canadian car enthusiast blog gawa from a recent tour of Japan revealed a BMW E30 M3 modified to function as a Gran Turismo game controller with a massive LCD HDTV built into the hood. The work was done by Studie garage as a tribute to one of the workers' favorite games, and is available to play for free in Studie's Yokohama headquarters.
Studie is a Japanese garage and performance tuning house that builds and installs their own custom performance build kits. Rumor has it that the coupé's steering wheel, clutch and foot pedals are modified to control the game, though chances are the fine folks at Studie just bolted a Logitech wheel into the dash instead. The PS3 peripheral BMW M3 holds center stage on the main show floor as a playable attraction for guests, but no word on whether or not the car is still operational as anything other than a glorified racing wheel.
