Leaked MS vid reveals Xbox Game Room, no new Natal name

Robbie Bach talks about the company's soon-to-be-announced Game Room, a service that will take "a retro approach" and bring "that back to the market"

Microsoft's CES press conference is a few hours away, but the company's biggest gaming announcement may have already leaked, as a prematurely released video confirms the Xbox 360 Game Room.

Joystiq recently discovered a leaked video interview done by Robbie Bach (Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices President) in which the CES keynote speaker reveals that the company will be premiering a new "Game Room" service.

In the interview with Microsoft's Channel 9 (which can be downloaded here), Bach talks about the company's soon-to-be-announced Game Room, a service that will take "a retro approach" and bring "that back to the market." Back in October, a survey sent by Microsoft hinted at a service that let Xbox avatars play arcade games, with one of the prospective names dubbed "Game Room."

Additionally, the video features various mentions of Project Natal, which probably indicates that the company's motion-sensing system will still keep its codename for another trade show. Why not just call it "Natal" at this point?
